Labour party member and candidate for Baxenden, David Hartley, will be posting regular updates of activities in the township and forthcoming dates for the diary so that residents can be better informed.
David said, "In the recent local elections, 736 people voted for me which is a good starting point for future years. I personally do not believe that the Conservative Baxenden representatives we currently have engage with the electorate as much as they should and my aim is to put that right. I will stand for election again next year and fight for a better voice here in Baxenden."
